Who IQCardGuide is for
IQCardGuide is designed for collectors, investors, resellers, parents, new hobbyists and experienced card buyers who want a clearer answer without opening a dozen tabs. You do not need to know hobby jargon to use the site.
What we are trying to solve
The card market can be difficult to navigate. Asking prices are often mistaken for values. Grading fees and rules change. A product that makes sense for a collector may make little sense for a reseller. Reviews can blur the line between firsthand testing, advertising and opinion.
Our job is to separate those questions and show the useful evidence behind the answer.
Evidence before estimates
We prefer completed sales, exact-card matching, transparent sample sizes and clearly labeled limitations.
Economics before assumptions
We compare fees, likely outcomes and market premiums rather than assuming every submitted card becomes a 10.
Independence before commissions
A commercial relationship does not buy a higher ranking, a better review or a favorable conclusion.
How we handle reviews and recommendations
When we personally test something, we can say so. When we do not, we do not pretend. Our Collector Consensus format summarizes recurring praise and complaints from multiple sources and keeps negative feedback in the analysis.
